Not only is gold holding critical support above $3,300 an ounce, but it also attracted some buying interest in the initial reaction to the first-quarter economic data.

Overall, this was a weaker quarter.

With so much uncertainty from tariffs and a shaky economy, Movado decided not to give guidance for the rest of the year and instead plans to raise prices where needed. Overall, this was a softer quarter.
