Industrial and commercial distributor Global Industrial (NYSE:GIC) reported Q1 CY2025 results exceeding the market’s revenue expectations, but sales were flat year on year at $321 million. Its non-GAAP profit of $0.35 per share was 75% above analysts’ consensus estimates.
Marine infrastructure company Orion (NYSE:ORN) reported revenue ahead of Wall Street’s expectations in Q1 CY2025, with sales up 17.4% year on year to $188.7 million. The company’s full-year revenue guidance of $825 million at the midpoint came in 1.5% above analysts’ estimates. Its non-GAAP profit of $0.01 per share was significantly above analysts’ consensus estimates.
Industrial processing equipment and solutions provider Hillenbrand (NYSE:HI) reported Q1 CY2025 results beating Wall Street’s revenue expectations, but sales fell by 8.8% year on year to $715.9 million. On the other hand, next quarter’s revenue guidance of $576 million was less impressive, coming in 5.4% below analysts’ estimates. Its non-GAAP profit of $0.60 per share was 11.5% above analysts’ consensus estimates.
Radiation safety company Mirion (NYSE:MIR) beat Wall Street’s revenue expectations in Q1 CY2025, with sales up 4.9% year on year to $202 million. Its non-GAAP profit of $0.10 per share was 27.4% above analysts’ consensus estimates.
Freight delivery company Landstar (NASDAQ:LSTR) beat Wall Street’s revenue expectations in Q1 CY2025, but sales fell by 1.9% year on year to $1.15 billion. Its GAAP profit of $0.85 per share was 5.7% below analysts’ consensus estimates.
Online education Stride (NYSE:LRN) reported Q1 CY2025 results beating Wall Street’s revenue expectations, with sales up 17.8% year on year to $613.4 million. The company’s full-year revenue guidance of $2.38 billion at the midpoint came in 1.6% above analysts’ estimates. Its non-GAAP profit of $2.15 per share was in line with analysts’ consensus estimates.
